Manage user preferences & venue info

The Settings section of the Waved app displays information and settings relating to both User and Venue.

Settings options here allow you to check user information or change your password, and manage venue information such as opening times. As a Venue Admin or Full Access User you can also set up Waved Schedules for an even more tailored ambience control.

The number of Settings options displayed in this section of the app will depend on the User level access of your account. If any of the options below do not appear in your Waved account, please contact your Venue Admin to request any necessary changes.

The sections below explain the function of each option in the Settings menu, regardless of your User level access:

User Settings

User Information

Username, names and email of your personal Waved account are displayed here. You can also edit user information, change email or change password as necessary.

My Venues

The My Venues menu option will only display if you have Venue Admin or Full Access user permissions at more than one venue with Waved.

Here Owners and Operational Managers can view the different Venues they are responsible for and set their preferred venue as default when first opening the app.

User Administration

How to edit or manage User Admin settings for your Waved account. Add, remove or manage user accounts to control who can access and monitor the Waved system at your venue. Easily adjust permission settings depending on a users job function.

Venue Settings

Venue Information

Your venues Name, Address, Time Zone and Opening Hours are displayed here.

This information is always set up during the installation process and linked to your Google Place ID, as long as your opening times are correctly set via Google they will also automatically update here. Nevertheless, you can also use the edit buttons to manually override hours or update any of your Venue Information here if necessary.

Schedules

Create Schedules to maintain the desired vibe throughout different times of the day.

Schedules allow Venue Admins to set up automatic Waved functions which activate at certain times, in selected zones, and bring another level of control to your experience.

For example, you're able to schedule fixed times during the week when you want music to start playing (mute/unmute), increase a vibe for after work drinks or create more atmosphere through evenings and into the weekends. You can also mute outside zones consistently and be certain not to disturb neighbours after closing hours.

Go to Settings and Schedules, then click New Schedule + for the Schedule pop-up box to appear. Then input the range of options below to set your desired Schedule:

Schedule Name: give your new schedule a clear name for future quick reference. For example: Opening Unmute Mon-Thur, After Work Vibe Up or Last Call Vibe Down.

Time: select a time you want the new Schedule to activate. Note: a new schedule must be set for the beginning and end of each desired change throughout the day.

Days: select the desired days to green when you want the schedule to activate.

Zones: select the desired zones to be affected by ticking the appropriate boxes.

Schedule Actions: choose one or a multiple of the four action buttons below to green that you wish to implement:

Change Vibe: chose to double vibe down, one vibe down, one vibe, double vibe up or Reset back to the mid vibe. Note: It's important to remember a vibe change will move the vibe scale relative to where the vibe is at the time of the Scheduled change.

Turn Automation On/Off: chose whether Waved automation should turn On or Off. We aways recommend keeping automation on as much as possible to get the most from Waved. This function is useful if there are many changes throughout the day and helps keep your venue on concept, from early mornings through to late night parties.

Mute: chose if Waved should Mute or Unmute a particular Zone or whole venue. This function is particularly helpful to Mute outside zones consistently and be certain not to disturb your neighbours after closing hours.

Mood Sustain: perfect for those days when you don’t want the mood to drop. This inteligent feature allows you to maintain a high energy ambience, even if large groups of guests leave or the venue suddenly becomes less crowded. By using the Mood Sustain feature you can create a louder ambience to attract new guest, encourage those guests already in house to stay for another drink and keep the party going!

Save or Cancel: finally Save the new Schedule you have created and the new Schedule block will appear in chronological order among all other set Schedules.

You can then view all Schedules side by side for easier oversight, return to Edit a particular Schedule or Delete Schedules which no longer apply to your venue.

Music Players

Find information about supported content providers and in app integrations to manage music playlists, pause, play music or skip to the next track, directly from the Waved app for easier oversight.

🎸 Soundtrack Your Brand

Waved integrates with Soundtrack Your Brand (SYB) in app and the player will appear at the bottom of your Waved Home screen once Music Player set up is complete:

Simply click Add Music Player, Select Provider in the drop down menu, then input your Email and Password credentials provided by your Soundtrack Your Brand account, click Get Players and the Soundtrack Your Brand player will appear at the bottom of the Home screen.

🎙️ Liveqube

Currently Liveqube is only available through source selection. Waved engineers are working on our in app integration with Liveqube for easier control through the Waved app.

🎧 Spotify

Currently Spotify is only available through source selection.

👑 Royal Streaming

Currently Royal Streaming is only available through source selection. Waved engineers are working on our in app integration with Royal Streaming for easier control through the Waved app.

Groups

This setting allows you to customise and improve your Home view layout by separating your venue's Zones into Groups. Especially useful for larger venues, Group multiple Zones on the same floor for easier management and oversight of your venue.

Simply click Add Group, Name the Group (ie. 1st Floor, Rooftop) and click Create Group. Then select the drop down menus of each Zone name and allocate Zones to the appropriate Group which you would like to view collectively on the Home screen.

Once Zones have been associated to the desired Group, you can easily reorder the Groups as you wish by using ⬆︎ or ⬇︎ next to the Group name. Here you can also Edit the Group name or Delete a Group to revert Zones back to their individual lines.

Local App

The Local App provides a stable connection to Waved, directly via your local network.

To open the Waved app on the local network your device must be connected to either the same Wi-Fi network or ethernet network as the Waved Hub.

Here the available Local App names will appear below the Hub name. Click on the prompt to open a new tab in your default internet browser and the Local App IP address will appear in the browsers URL navigation bar. Then you can follow the same Start with Waved set-up guide to add the Local App to your devices Home Screen ⊞.
